The Great War so SHORT?!

User Rating: 6.8 | Ace Combat Zero: The Belkan War PS2
After falling in love with AC4 and AC5, i had high expectations for this game, because of the series progression and that the game was set in the The Belkan War, the supposedly big one.
Boy was i wrong.
First of all, don't buy into the over 45 missions thing, you play 15 missions 3 times because of the ranking system. Each rank has different stories, so you have to play the game 3 times to get all the Ace's stories, the ones you shoot down in the game.
Also, there was no sense of scale in the game. This is a Great War, and yet, there are no stages where enemies swarm you. Even the famed Round Table dogfights are pale, because there are only like, 20 planes onscreen at once. WTF mate? Even the 4 year old AC4 with its Shattered Skies stage was better, and more grand in scale.
The only good aspect of this game is that the wingmen support is great. Pixy will shoot down targets and take them out. But the most annoying thing of this game is the stage Merlon, have fun.
