Worst Ace Combat in the series. The only reason I'm keeping it is that I have them all.
The loss of control in the dogfight and bombing modes are problems that need to be addressed. I know that its a delicate balance between making a game to easy or to hard but this loss of control destroys the game heritage of realistic flight. I can put up with the loss of reality of flying through tunnels and aircraft that are futuristic but I want to fly them instead of the computer. If all I wanted out of a game is to push a fire button I could be a in the back seat like the FA-18 mission in Battlefield 3.
Like most new games you have tried to go after a market that is already set and almost impossible to enter. The Call of Duty gamer's are not going to buy into this new flight concept and you will lose the Ace Combat loyalist by destroying the realistic flight characteristics the game had in the past.
The last item on my list of failings for this edition of Ace Combat is that like most of today's games you have went on-line. The on-line segment of this game might be good for the few people who can get a high speed internet connection but for the majority of us the lag and glitches of the on-line play makes playing on line a waste of time.
