Ever wanted to feel like a real combat pilot? Well wait no longer this game will bring make this fantasy come true.
Seriously this game is actually one of the best air combat simulators out there, besides it comes from a very respectful franchise which has spanned many other games, so when you buy it you know you'll have a good name and a good company backing this game up.
The aircraft used in this game is legitimate (with the exception of some models) and responds accordingly, if for example, you choose an F-14, you won't be able to fly as fast or have the high-tech weapons an F-22 would have, but you'll enjoy the experience nonetheless.
The graphics are beautiful, the landscapes even more, the cockpit details have been polished to the last detail making this game a delight to play, and sometimes you'll find yourself playing "free-flight" mode in order to enjoy the landscapes and beautiful graphics this game offers.
But most outstanding of all, is the soundtrack, this piece of art has a soundtrack that we seldom hear in any other game. Its beautiful musical pieces will make you go and get the OST as soon as possible or even listen to it while you are doing any other activity.
Now, i'm not trying to diminish the hard work the Ubisoft people put into H.A.W.X but you can't compare a giant to dwarf and that's what this is all about (the giant being AC) you will notice it since you play the disc on your xbox, the story while not being the most original, is more than good for this game, it's not just mindless dogfights, it has a meaning to it.
I'm not trying to convince you to buy it, Bandai won't give me a dime if you do, only thing i'm trying to do is give you a trustworthy opinion from a gamer and a flying enthusiast, the rest is up to you.
