Ninety-Nine Nights dated

TOKYO--Microsoft today announced that Ninety-Nine Nights has been dated for release on April 20 in Japan. The game will be priced at 7,140 yen ($61). Ninety-Nine Nights' official site has been revamped together with the announcement, and it features new content, including additional screenshots.

Ninety-Nine Nights is former Sega producer Tetsuya Mizuguchi's debut title for the Xbox 360. It also happens to be his first console game since he established his independent studio, Q Entertainment. The game is a collaborative project between Q Entertainment and Korean studio Phantagram, which is known for its Kingdom Under Fire strategy series.

Ninety-Nine Nights is an action game with strategy elements, and it takes place in a fantasy world where humans and other races are in a war with each other. Players will control a massive army that is challenged by hordes of enemies. Using the processing power of the Xbox 360, the game will render more than 1,000 soldiers on the screen at once.
