Empire at War demo now available

The disturbance in the Force gamers recently felt was the frantic clicking of computer mice by Star Wars fans across the globe. The highly anticipated Star Wars: Empire at War demo is now available from GameSpot.

Empire at War is a real-time strategy game set in the Star Wars universe. The 741MB demo gives a basic breakdown of the game in the form of five tutorials and one galactic conquest map. In the full retail version, gamers can control either the Rebellion and fight for galactic harmony (boooooring) or take the side of the Empire and crush the attempts of young Skywalker and his band of meddling freedom fighters.

Star Wars: Empire at War is rated T for Teen and will retail for $49.99 when it goes on sale February 15. For more information, check out GameSpot's previous coverage.
