Gameplay: Originally released as an included cart if you bought a Genesis near the end of the systems' life cycle in 1995 and 1996, 6-Pak contains 6 Genesis games that are considered great classics. The games are Sonic the Hedgehog, a first game involving Sega's mascot, Super Hang On, an arcade style motorcycle simulator, Revenge of the Shinobi, a walk-and-shoot ninja action game, Golden Axe, A medieval-style fighting game, Streets of Rage, a beat-em game, and Columns, a jewel matching puzzle. Most of these games belong in the action genre. Sonic the Hedgehog is a good way to start the series of Sega's mascot. Super Hang On is good is you like an arcade style game with a couple quests included. Revenge of the Shinobi is good if you want to have a classic arcade shooting feel in your living room. Golden Axe is good if you like a decent fighting game with magic powers included. Streets of Rage is a gold mine to anyone with a feel to beat the crap out of thugs. And finally, Columns is a decent puzzle game that can be fun to play for a little while. Overall, 6-Pak is sure to have a good game for anyone. Graphics: The 6 games look exactly like they originally looked when they were first released for the Genesis in the late 80's and early 90's. The games aren't all beautiful looking, but they show some old-school feel while playing through. Sound: The sound is also the same. Most of the 6 games music are pretty good and tolerable. Same goes for the sound effects too. Conclusion: There's more to these 6 games to discus, but you can find out more about them by looking them up on the net. Sega made a wise decision to include all 6 of these good games in one Genesis cart. Bottom line, if you are purchasing a Genesis and want to know which good games to get, 6-Pak gives you 6 good games in one cart for a regular price of one game. This is a good deal. I highly recommend this cart to anyone looking for good games on the Genesis.
