First thing, lets get the negative stuff out of the way. The first problem is that the aiming sucks, period. If they had used an autoaim feature like True Crime or Dead to Rights,GUN or even Total Overdose then we would be very happy campers right now. There is a fixed camera option as well as sensitivity adjustment but they do too little to alleviate the problem. The second is some very questionable collision detection in which you have to stand at an exact angle just to activate things like the usual door or elevator which can become very annoying. The enviroments are decent at best as there are too many bland textures and blah design. The story is typical revenge crap set in the"hood". Now onto the positive stuff, the character models are accurate for the most part and animate well. WIth all the bad things going for it there is still a little fun to be had. While the aiming is a chore there is a sense of satisfaction shooting all types of guns as the sound effects accentuate the killing. The amount of enemies on screen along with your NPC Lloyd Banks,Tony Yayo and Young Buck helping you along also helps. There is a feature called "Counter Kill", which is an up close melee move that is animated silky smooth and very fun to watch and easy to pull off. The vast amount of content to unlock also saves this from being complete garbage.
