3D Tetris was appealing simply because of the concept. The idea of having yet another dimension to content with was attractive. Unfortunately the excecution of this concept was not as strong as I would have hoped for. The gameplay itself is quite good, or at least as good as any Tetris style game. The controls are easy to learn and the play is addicting as one would expect. However, the graphics and sound are less than average. In particular, the graphics are very mundane and even dull looking. The pseudo-3D rendering is quite obviously coerced. And the sound effects lack creativity... and are more annoying that anything.
3D Tetris tries to bring use of the VirtualBoy's 3D imaging to the well known world of Tetris. This is not the first attempt at a 3D game of "clearing blocks" as it is preceded by Block Out which existed on PC... Read Full Review
