i got this game on e-bay just for my old Nintendo Famicom collection; no expectations. i figured it just might have enhanced graphics and sound, but didnt care much; graphics and sound dont appeal to me if the rest of the game doesnt. that of course wasn't the case for 1943, though. your plane was even more meneuverable than before, and the powerups do a lot more for. not to mention enemy AI is much more adaptive than 1942's. lastly i thought it was kool, for it reminds of my younger days, going to the nearest arcade (i know i'm the natalgic) type...

  It's classic, whats it matter. If it gets a poor review people have forgotten the fun factor as kids playing these games

  Old-school classic that is far above it's predecessor. Worth playing again.
