Free to Gold Subscribers, 1 v 100 manages to create a fun and addictive multiplayer trivia game
The trivia itself is varied and interesting. They have available options such as themed nights, 1 v 100 Live (where you get to go head to head with "The One" as a crowd member or as part of the mob to try and win Xbox Live points and DLC) and general trivia while you're waiting for the "good stuff" to come on. The difficulty level should please both trivia fanatics and new comers alike.
Chris Cashman ("The Host") does live commentary during the live sections, and manages to keep it interesting. However, if you're playing this for more than a few hours, his little cut scenes/AD's during breaks get annoying, very, very quickly. I'd honestly prefer if they actually played normal commericals or ads during these breaks rather than the same 3-4 promos over and over. Make some money off me if you'd like 1 v 100! You're giving me a free game anyways.
Frankly, I hope they continue to keep this service going as long as possible. It's alot of fun! Give it a peek when you have a chance.
