Electronic Arts has released new Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 video, which provides an overview for the wacky shooter's six new character classes. It also highlights the variants of these classes, as well its new maps, including the Asia-themed Zen Peak and the dinosaur-inspired Boney Island.

In all, Garden Warfare 2 will offer 14 classes across the Zombie and Plants teams, totaling more than 100 characters. Take a look at the new video below, which is narrated by lead gameplay designer Chris Fox. Meanwhile, a rundown of the six new classes is further down.

Garden Warfare 2 launches in spring 2016 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. It is a sequel to 2014's original, but switches things up in a major way. This time around, it's the zombies that are defending Zomburbia against the plants who are trying to reclaim it.

  • Rose: An extremely powerful sorceress that can turn zombie foes into fully playable goats.
  • Captain Deadbeard: A crusty peg-legged captain with a trick weapon up his sleeve.
  • Kernal Corn: Leads the plant offensive as the primary assault class with dual cob busters and a high rate of fire.
