• Little Kitty, Big City allows players to explore a sprawling metropolis, get into mischief, make friends, and collect a bunch of cute hats, among other activities.

Xbox Game Pass has added Little Kitty, Big City to its ever-expanding content catalog. This is the first day-one release to reach Microsoft's subscription service in May 2024, as well as the third overall addition to Xbox Game Pass since the turn of the month.

While the goal of the game is to find one's way home, that journey will be all but straightforward, not least because Little Kitty, Big City boasts a sprawling open world with plenty of things to do and places to be. Its list of potential activities includes meeting and befriending a wide variety of animal characters, some of whom will act as quest givers. Another big feature is customization, with players being able to collect a huge assortment of hats, each more adorable than the next, that the protagonist can wear. While the game's premise may seem like Stray in a non-dystopian setting, Little Kitty, Big City also appears to lean into Untitled Goose Game-like sandbox shenanigans.

Just recently finished playing Another Crab’s Treasure which was a surprisingly good Souls like game. Very good stuff.

Started playing this Little Kitty Big City game and am enjoying it as well. Pretty neat game so far.

Little Kitty, Big City has reached a new milestone of 100,000 units in just 48 hours. Releasing day-one on Xbox Game Pass, Little Kitty, Big City is the first game by Double Dagger studio, led by veteran developer Matt T. Wood. Gamers may recognize Wood for his work in the Left 4 Dead series, Portal 2, and Half Life 2. Fans of these works were excited to see an indie game that would draw upon Wood's level of experience. In addition to his own impressive body of work, Wood used his own cats as inspiration for Little Kitty, Big City.

that's a weirdly specific statement.. layoffs happen all the time in the gaming business from nearly every platform owner and publisher..

Nah actually we have a ton of stray and wild animals coming around at some time or another.

I both love and dislike living so close to nature :p

I've got a very hot girl I'm getting pretty close with and she's a real animal lover taking in strays both cats and dogs but not keeping'em thank goodness, just until she finds them a good home and if she can't, takes them to a shelter.

Nothing wrong with that, I guess. Did I mention she's smokin hot? lolol :P

The game doesn't look very impressive graphically, but of course it could still be enjoyable. I am downloading it for my daughter and will see what she thinks about it.
