’m told that Microsoft has also considered increasing the price of Game Pass Ultimate again. These are only considerations, so a final decision could mean we still see a future Call of Dutyrelease appear in most versions of Game Pass. The debate internally reflects the fact Microsoft’s Xbox strategy has shifted from just delivering its games exclusively into Game Pass to considering bringing more Xbox games to multiple platforms.

I think Ninja Theory is basically done

Possible Gamepass price increase deserves its own thread, yes

Definitely see this happening. They don’t have enough people to support the current price.

I can see a price increase for Game Pass in the future. While I would obviously prefer to pay as little for it as possible as long as I see value in the service then I will continue to be a subscriber.

Well that only makes sense seeing as though MS is going to focus on AAA games again.

Nothing but bad news from the green side as always. And when Hellblade2 tanks, followed by a disastrous Starfield dlc, ouch is all you will hear from them.

Xbox is just making these changes so they become leaner and stronger than ever. Nothing to be concerned about.

I hope not! This will be a ripple effect once xbox raises price Sony, Nintendo and others all will be raising their respective prices as well under excuse of rising costs. Tbh I am already deeply contemplating discontinuing my PS+ sub and this just helps the case lol.

Totally expected a price increase due to the investments MS is seeing after Activision buyout. They gotta make back the money somehow.

A price increase has been talked about for a while now. It's inevitable that a price increase will happen

if Gamepass shifts up PS+ will follow, I can see it happening and honestly the more these increases happen the more PC will continue to attract consumers.

Companies raise the price of their subscription service sometimes. It's unfortunate that anyone would be surprised by that.

But since the thread is made by a Sony fanboy, I'm not surprised, and I'll just leave the fact that Sony raised the price of PSN with 30% last October. Gamepass haven't raised the price since last July, which means Gamepass will most likely raise the price before Sony does, with Sony following shortly after.

But yeah. Dumb thread that should've just been a dumb post in an already existing thread.

Just end Game pass. Xbox has enough studios to compete with their rivals. Game pass is costing them too much imo.

MS gaming division will be dead in 10 years imo. They're hemorrhaging at all seams and aren't making progress.
