What are you playing this weekend, SW?

I beat Like a Dragon Gaiden last week which I didn't end up liking as much as I thought I would. It started off good, but got very repetitive. Still looking forward to Like a Dragon 8 which will be here soon! In the meantime, will probably play some games from the backlog. So many great games to still play like Baldur's Gate 3, Hogwarts, Star Ocean Remake, etc. How about you, SW? What are you playing this weekend?

Unavowed. Point & Click game. Very good. I’ve navigated to this genre, and I really like it. I’ve finished many a game in this genre……but trying to finish Unavowed, now.

I don't know. Last few weekends I had intended to finish up Titanfall 2, but then went with something else or didn't get a chance to play videogames at all.

More Monster Hunter World: Iceborne. Might play a bit of Tekken 7 to warm up for the upcoming Tekken 8. Might also check out some Assassin’s Creed Valhalla via Game Pass.

I'm replaying Gears 5, so I'll be playing that this weekend. Gears 5 on PC at max settings just looks so damn good. Also, I pick up Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown but I wanna finish up Gears 5 first before installing The Lost Crown when it is released

Edit: I still need to finish Immortals of Aveum but man, that game isn't clicking to my liking much.

Posting this from a hospital, getting my jab. But anyway, once I get home, I'll making up for lost time in Rogue Trader.

Small bit of background. My food stockpile is dependent on two different delivery cycles: a big one for longer-lasting items once every 3 weeks, and a much smaller one for fresh items every week. Both have recently failed me. My last big delivery was missing one bag of pasta; a small but crucial error, because it's 5 meals that I've had to go without. Fast forward to this week, the third week of the three-week cycle, and my weekly delivery suddenly went MIA. I was counting on it to get through to the next big delivery day, and it just... ...didn't show up.

As a result, I've had to ration to get through the week; surviving on two meals and one small snack a day. I've also been unable to play anything but Warframe all week, because the game can be something of a hunger suppressant for me. Grinding away while listening to podcasts and YouTube videos takes my mind off my stomach.

But that's about change. Order and pay today, delivery tomorrow. Finally, some proper fucking food, and I'll be able to play any game I want.

I'm thinking of starting FF Type 0, its been sitting on my shelf for at least 5yrs, but it's not turn based, so i'm having trouble getting myself motivated to play it.

jedi survivor,its good like fallen order but also annoying exploring or being unable to complete rumours on a planet because the ability to progress is locked behind the main story.

@iambatman7986: same here, love the coziness in the winter at night just watching some movie with the family behind the fire place. Watched Napoleon yesterday, a true spectacle.

Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart. Solid game. Fun combat. A bit corny but, themes wise, I suspect I'm not the target demographic (I'm far too young to be playing it :P). Loading wise it has behaved as I suspected. It's really only a factor during level transitions (main levels, not the little side quests for armour). Nothing particularly clever. Just V1 brute force.

Also playing Dust an Elysian Tale which is ok. At this stage I'll finish it since i'm nearly at the end anyway but...i dunno....didn't float my boat.

After those i'm torn between getting stuck into HI-FI Rush or God of war. May go God of war. I played Spiderman: Dark and serious. Then R&C: light and fluffy. Back to dark and serious....followed by light and fluffy :P.

Up next on the deck will be thronebreaker.

I just finished the demo of The Lost Crown. I loved it! I'm definitely buying it on day 1! 🙂

Bomb Rush Cyberfunk... Such a cool game.

Tested Granblue multiplayer and it was fun. But I hate the game dodge button placement (R2) why did dev continue platinum legacy it suck ass.

@sakaixx: I played through it as well, and its an easy day 1 for me. Easily beats FF Strangers of Paradise that I'm working my way through right now with a buddy.

Just finished Spider-Man on SD, going back to Yakuza 0.

Finished Asura's Wrath, and started playing Jusant.

Like a Dragon Gaiden was awesome, I'm bummed you didn't like it much. I'm not excited about Infinite Wealth one bit, cause I didn't like the RPG gameplay.

Played Mario Golf 64 with my friend via Switch Online. Game never gets old lol. So good!

I decided to go with MotoGP 22.

Probably no games. I'm fucking sick with Covid thanks to my mom. Plus, I'm binge-watching Cardcaptor Sakura. So no games.
