kungfuchaos-

That's not accurate at all sir.

Upscaling is the process of taking a lower resolution image and "blowing it up" using some mathematics to a higher resolution.

ANY COMPUTER can upscale because its a inherently software process. What was a problem with the PS3 before was that there was a lack of software for "hardware supported upscaling".

This problem has been resolved awhile back though some older game titles still can't do 1080i properly I think I'm not certain.

This PS3 has the some of the best upscaling for movies on the market. The games are also quite good.

Its a very good game. Fun and challenging and also its nice to get away from all the "kill your enemies" types of games.

The strategy of the game is heavily involved in your choice of cards as well as how you play them.

Its pretty easy to hop into an online game with someone using the matchmaking system.

Tournaments are popping up here and there online as well.

Probably, most importantly is that games like Magic the gathering were complicated. There was frustration from people when arguments about rule interpretation came into play. In this case the rules are interpreted by the PS3 computer so there is never any doubt.

[QUOTE="KurupSoldr"][QUOTE="Denji"]

[QUOTE="KurupSoldr"]LOL that would nver happen its a 3rd party GIANT and how do you think they got there, by selling to all consoles!Denji

You never know. They could attempt it. By the way things have gone the past few years or so, nothing's beneath Microsoft.

Money is king, the more they make the better, THIS WOULD NEVER HAPPEN, it would be suicide for EA to even attempt it, i could see maybe a game or two if that but not everything

But then again, they could shell out nothing but crap on every other system and make it all superior on the 360 to basicly force people to get a 360 moreless. I mean you can't say they won't pull something like this....

If I paid you 1.5 million dollars to care about my company, EA, first and foremost and make us profitable...

Then... You blatantly put me second to MS just so you could help out your "old" company even though they aren't paying your monthly paycheck anymore...

I would fire your butt in a second. I'm pretty sure this is FANTASY because he's not that dumb.

In fact, what reason would he have to risk his career to act as a secret agent of Microsoft?

Do you perchance have more than one ps3 or a ps2 you game online with or someone nearby doing such a thing?

Typically people only have one IP address which means only one game machine can be gaming to the internet at a time. (This does not effect local LAN gaming)

Example: If Socom requires port 8000 on a machine and it gets reserved for Socom... Everything else trying to use port 8000 will simply time out.

The router can "cache" the connection to a particular device for awhile too... Making it complicated if you have a LAN party and want a particular machine to have Internet Play access.

I have a Sony Bravia 1080p TV. Now, for the Display settings, should I have the RGB Full Range (whatever that is) Full? And should I have the Cross Colour Reduction Filter on or off? Thanks in advance!-Sniper99-

1) I believe cross color reduction is for Component Video and won't matter since you should be using HDMI since its a Bravia.

2) Full Range RGB will make dull colors brighter but dark colors might become almost black and very bright colors become almost white

--its a trade off depending what you like.

The PS3 does support 1.3 (including deep color).

The concept of "future proof" should apply here.

The goat was purchased from a butcher shop not "cut open on the table" for Sony.

Blu-ray cannot die simply because if you've ever tried to backup a  500 gigabyte hard disk to Dual Layer DVD (50 dual layer DVD disks required) then you know its simply NOT going to die.

The PC world will dictate that High Capacity optical will survive NO MATTER WHAT.

Since Dell / Apple / and others are all on the Blu-ray board its pretty clear that Blu-ray is probably going to dominate.
