Wait what... Whats the problem? This is a great shooter
This is an incrediblly well made first per shooter and thats about it. Sure the "campaign" may be a bit "been there done that" but thats no reason to overlook all the other great things about this game.
The developers of this game pay incredible attention to detail. It takes a true gaming enthusiast to aknowledge/appreciate it all the small things that have gone into this game.
MULTIPLAYER
I suggest trying out the multiplayer first so you can truly see all the small things that make this game stand out above other shooter games.. Definately check out multiplayer first because the typical "explosion explosion cutscene cutscene" single player campaign will instantly cause you to judge the game.
First off, the guns in this game are LIGHTYEARS above and beyond any other games weapons. The guns in this game are just an art form at its finest. The detail, the way you grip it, the subtle weapon sway, the smoke that comes out of the barrel after each round, the shell casings that eject out of the chamber.. Oh my god.. So beautiful.. So elegant. And the sounds.. Man.. Once you cycle thought about 15 different guns in multiplayer and hear the gun shot sounds from each weapon you will just laugh at all other games in comparison..You have never seen a first person shooter weapon until you have played warfighter.
While medal of honor warfighter certainly does not do EVERYTHING the best, it most certainly does weapons the best out of any other shooter game by far.
Besides the incredible weapons there are just so many other little things that make this game awesome. The footsteps in multiplayer are literally what i have been waiting for all my life.. They literally sound real, walking on dirt or walking on a wood floor you KNOW where they are coming from.. It's not like other fps games where you aren't sure where the steps are coming from because in this game its REAL. It's like exactly how it is in real life. Best footsteps in any shooter game hands down. Case closed.
Also besides just the gun sounds the ambiance of being in a firefight in this game is just INCREDIBLE. If you are in a small wooden hut and you are laying down while enemies open fire.. You can literally hear the hollow, deep, low-toned sound each round makes passing through the first layer of wood than transitioning into an echo effect. I swear i have never heard anything like it in my entire life.. Its just.. beautiful.

You will also notice the incredible graphics, it uses the same engine battlefield3 does but they really polish it up very nicely. The performance and optimization is up there with some of the best i have ever seen.
And honestly, i think the campaign is a very solid experience as well. Great graphics, photo-realistic cinematics.. Awesome firefights. Certainly nothing you haven't seen before but its still awesome nonetheless.
Just get this game, its always on sale for $5 bucks somewhere and provides 100x more content than the small price you pay.
