Why would PlayStation attend if they have nothing to announce? :S

I suspect with Nintendo it will be the last Switch-focused Direct before announcing the successor, maybe we'll finally have clarity on Metroid Prime 4.

if the mystery xbox show is indeed a deep dive into xbox studio's Black ops cold war then playstation owners get to see a detailed look at their biggest and best selling franchise..so thats something!

Look all Sony has to do is show a logo of any game, whack it on their official YT channel and its fanbase will go crazy for it. They don't need a show to convince people when their fanbase is already indoctrinated.

Look at MS ignoring all the closures like it never happened. Not gonna work, sweeping it under the rug is out of the question.

@SolidGame_basic: Wouldn't that worry you? Think about the implications of Sony being the only hardware manufacturer making high end consoles.

It would lead to a monopoly (something I've read cows are dead against, remember when MS bought Craptivision, im sure you don't) it would create a monopoly and you thought Sony was arrogant during the PS3 release, it would be 10 fold worse than that.

Wow... No Sony at all for this? They must've gone harder on Gaas than I had expected. They're known for announcing games waaaaaay too early so having nothing to show must mean we are many years away from a Sony studio game? Seems crazy that they've had such a drout this generation.

I thought the rumor was they'd unveil the PS5 Pro in late May. Now rumor is something about a beastly handheld. Safe to say these rumors are all bullshit.

You'd have to be crazy to invest further in another console for this generation. They botched it and more performance under the hood isn't gonna save anything.

Yeah like that RDR rumor, what a shame, really wanted to see it finally appear on PC.

Apt description. I felt that in the past we have moments where AAA refused to take risks, but this entire gen has been riskless... pulseless with flop after flop (Redfall, Skull & Bones, Susquad)
