User Rating: 8.6 | Zombies Ate My Neighbors SNES
Simply put, one of my favorite, if not the favorite of the SNES's library, which is a bold statement, but not far from the truth. This game like many of the timeless classics for the SNES have withstood the test of time, they are still fun to play even now 12 years later! Zombies Ate My Neighbors is a Survival/Horror meets a bit of parody and comedy. It is clearly ripping off several big named horror movies and is created by Lucas Arts, which isn't know for much more than Star Wars this and Star Wars that. This game however, is one of the best and defiantely one of my favorite games, especially when this game was released. If this game could be remade for the GBA, I would actually play my Nintendo DS... it's a tradegy that it hasn't. Anyone who has played this game, under the circumstances, most likely loved it. The levels are fun, wacky and there are about 80 levels of non-stop action. From conquering vampire infested dungeons and castles to going through a desert that is crawling with sand worms like the ones from the movie, "Tremors." There are many aspects of the game that are simply cute and funny. The game has a Bart Simpson approach to horro in the sense that the weapons are Holy Water shooting super soakers, soda cans, spit ball shooters, fireworks, etc. There are several scary parts that I remember from when I played this game first (I was 5) that now I just laugh at, but this game was amazing and way ahead of its time, without a doubt. If you have a SNES and still play it, get this friggin' game!
