Slaying Zombies with a Smile :)

User Rating: 10 | Zombieland: Double Tap - Road Trip NS
Zombieland is a fun arcade game. It's a top down shooter but also has a survival game mode called horde mode. I played as Tallahassee and it was my job to send any and all zombies in my path to eternal damnation. Being that I have courage that exceeds that of every man, and every living creature in the universe I accepted and embraced said task of fighting the hordes of zombies. There are different weapons you can use against the undead, guns and melee weapons.Playing this game on nintendo switch in portable mode is a lot of fun. Horde mode has the most replay value of all. During campaign mode on one level you are asked to escort someone's grandma safely across town without letting the undead gobble her like a fattie man gobbles food at a buffet. These zombies in Zombieland double tap road trip are hungry. I'm talking hungry like a blubberball fattie man that weighs 550 pounds and went on a failed diet for a grand total of 48 excruciating hours without carbs mind you, and then couldn't take it anymore so then he went buck wild at the nearest buffet in town and emptied their inventory as if a natural disaster hit that restaurant. As far as saving someone else's grandma, Well I tried not to let it happen, not very hard, I didn't put much effort into saving the rocking chair lady so she dropped dead, and after the rocking chair lady bit the bullet I laughed :) Hey I still had plenty of lifebar left so my understanding of the situation was I survived and that's all that really matters right? I mean that wasn't my grandma that was eaten alive by the undead so I don't really care. Now with that being said and all, you tell me what it is you think I could've done differently on that level of zombieland that would've changed the outcome of granny. Anyways the game didn't share the same viewpoint as me so the game made me restart that level. That's when I went back to the menu and tried Horde mode which was a lot of fun.You gotta have good stick skills to survive wave after wave of zombie attacks. I like the fact that I can detach both joycons in nintendo switch handheld mode and play in tabletop mode. Playing in handheld mode or tabletop mode on nintendo switch allows me to immerse myself more into sending the zombies to eternal damnation more so than when I play the switch docked. Try it in handheld and tabletop mode and you'll understand The detached right joycon in tabletop mode makes it more believable that it's a gun and the ZR button, the trigger, will be your best friend while the left joycon controls Tallahassee's feet which better be churning like Fred Flintstone's on his way to the rock quarry so I can evade, kill, and survive the zombie apocalypse. Campaign mode is also fun, you travel across the u.s. and slay the undead. There are 18 levels in this mode. During campaign mode the undead who are clearly deficient and lacking in civility attacked me with such levels of aggression and barbarism so as to invoke my response and use of every available melee weapon I could get my hands on. I summoned a Herculian effort that can only be found from within and I then attempted to strike said melee weapon on top of the zombie's head with the force a lightning bolt hits a human beings head (an act of god). I found this to result in being a very efective method of survival in zombieland that brought me both joy and peace of mind. This game only cost 40 bucks (which is the equvalent of the cost of 8 cheeseburgers which may or may not include franken ingredients) but has endless hours of fun in horde mode so Zombieland double tap road trip is worth it on the nintendo switch. I would like to see some dlc content. add even more levels to campaign mode because I will be playing this game a lot on the road.Add even more levels to horde mode. There's also a multiplayer mode where you and up to 3 others can send zombies to eternal damnation. Thanks for making a fun zombie arcade game for the nintendo switch that has a lot of replay value. FYI when the the rocking chair lady in zombieland double tap road trip dropped dead it just meant less baggage for Tallahasse to carry. Zombieland double tap road trip accomplishes something most other video games have failed to. The developers of Zombieland, High Voltage Software and Gamemill produced a video game that is genuinely fun to play regardless of the outcome or score. Whereas other video game developers have forgotten the reasons why video games were originally created, for pure enjoyment. Nowadays too many video game developers are not passionate video game developers, instead they are corporate minded human fare boxes whose only expertise is the psychology of virtual gambling, loot boxes. Thanks again to the developers and the individuals that worked on Zombieland double tap road trip for making a fun arcade zombie shooter that I will play and according to the law of the land and the good lord defend myself against the zombie apocalypse.
