Great dumb arcade game, just remember it's meant to be casual and dumb, not an intense piece of immersion.

If you ever played the ole micro machine looking GTA games you'll appreciate what kind of game this is.

It's really meant for when you've got some time to kill and you just want to play something fun and alittle goofy.

Handling is pretty damn good, though it did make me think it could be tweaked a smidgen more to become perfect.

Gameplay is pretty simple... story mode has you picking up survivors, sometimes with a timed secondary objective, sometimes you have to go discover a new car.

At first it seems too easy, but as you progress it does become difficult. You are challenged into thinking about which weapons are best to use in zombie clusters with whichever particular vehicle you're driving (each vehicle has a passenger capacity too).

Thankfully they eventually released a patch with a new game mode... Slaughter. This is basically a small contained area where you have to survive as long as possible. If you've played Killing Floor the idea of each "wave" becoming more difficult is pretty much identical. The one difference is Killing Floor has an end boss to each level... Slaughter mode here just goes on until you die or quit.

For what it is, it's a very tight, well made game. It barely has a story for its story mode but really there isn't much you can say about a zombie apocalypse that hasn't already been said.

If you were to compare this with your average AAA game this would be a 6 out of 10 because of the limited game design, but this is really more in line with those little indie puzzle games and things. It's like a very streamlined GTA1 with zombies, prettier graphics and better handling.

It's alot of fun in small doses.
