It's an okay game, but not great. Lucky for me, I'm a fan of the series, or I would've hated it when I bought it yesterday. The storymode is tedious, often just placing you in random battles, and after the first 8 levels, is just a series of impossible puzzle battles. Story mode's cutscenes would be good, except they're just 2-D characters presented in a comic format with voiceovers as well, and the occasional cursing just isn't in the spirit of the show, although it's probably what any of the players would've said had they been in the characters shoes. Fighting leaves something to be desired, seeing how your enemies always have all their spells, when you usually have a grand total of 3. Unlocking characters is annoying too, because you have to get about a B average in both of the levels you're fighting a Mamodo, or you've got nothing. Still, there are some good points in the game. There's a large cast of characters, including popular ones, such as Wonrei, Kanchume, and Tia, and not so popular ones, like Robnos, and the ice and plant guys. The graphics leave something to be desired too, because like most TV show games, they basically just took the character's face from the cartoon, and shoved it on a computer model to be digitally altered so they could try to convince you that they actually did something. Still, it's a relatively good game, unless you don't like Zatch and pals, in which case you're screwed if you buy it.
