Quite a complicated conscept, but lots of fun when you start getting the hold of it.

User Rating: 8.5 | Yu-Gi-Oh! Dungeon Dice Monsters GBA
I will make this review in two parts: An explination of the consept and a review of the game.

Conscept:
Each player has fiftheen dice. Each dice contains a monster. When it is your turn, you choose three dices to roll. The dices are diferent when it comes to what you can get. For instance: On one dice there are four dimention-sides, one 4-attack-side and one 2-move-side. In your crest pool you have all the walking, attacking, blocking etc. that you have earned by rolling dices. You use one attack creast to attack, one move creast for each square you move, one block creast to block and so on. The dimention side: The monsters have diferent levels. Level 1 monsters have 4 dimention sides, level 2 monsters have 3 sides, level 3 monsters 2 sides and level 4 monsters one side. If you roll dimention sides with at least to dices/monsters of the same level, you choose one moster to place on the board (called dimentioning). You can choose from all ways a dice can be folded out to six squares. Afterwards you place it on the board (247 squares). It must be side by side with one of your other squares. In the start, you will only have one square (where your dice master is placed) and your opponent one square on the opposite of the board. When you dimention, you will after a while conect your squares with your opponent, and the battle can begin. Battle: When you attack an opponent, there are some things that decides if it will die. If your attack is 10, you will take one heart from your opponent (the number of hearts is different). However your opponent can block. If his blocking capasity is 10 he will reduce the damage you take by 10, so if you only have 10 in attack power you will not take a single heart. To find out how many hearts you will take from your opponent if he block the attack the formula is this: (A - B) : 10. A is attack and B blocking capasity. Your goal: Get to the other side of the board and kill his dice master. The dice master has three hearts. He can't block, but you can't take more than one heart per turn. Battle modes: You can figth in a tournament. On the first level it is six tournaments. Beat five of them to unlock the sixth and beat the sixth to unlock the next level. After you have won tournaments, you can battle the opponents you met in a free duel. Also you can try a link duel if you know someone else with the game. Complicated? Yes, it is.

Review:
This is one of the games where you learn along the way, just like pokemon games. Therefore there is a long learning curve. However, if you keep doing it, you will be good at tactics in the end. The gameplay is quite awesome, however one battle takes far to long time. Getting through a tournament migth take an hour a half if you're unlucky. However the graphics are cool, even though they aren't great, the conscept is cool and the gameplay capturing. The music is bugging, though. I would encurage you to buy this if you like long-lasting, tactical battles, however you migth find the opponent easy to beat because it is very stupid. However as you opponents start getting better and better monsters, it will still be a challenge.
