You will want to throw your DS at the wall at times, but this is still an amazing game

The original Yoshi's Island, which I played on the GBA had to be one of my favorite games on the system. When I found out there was a sequel, I went and bought it. I made a good choice.

Bowser is back with a new plan to take all the babies in the world with Kamek. Bowser's helpers drop Peach and Mario, but of course Luigi is still taken. Now we have the game beginning... You start with a little tutorial on the game and learn about switching babies on yoshi's back. This was pretty fun since different babies have different powers, Mario making Yoshi run, Peach making Yoshi float, Bowser shoots fireballs, Wario attracts meta, and baby DK is super stron and climbs vines.

The gameplay is basically the same with jumping with A, and shooting with R. The graphics are still 2D, but have been updated a little bit. The frustration level has gone up, but that can be bearable even though you have random things attacking you wherever you go.

Even though the game has gotten tougher, it's still a great game. I recommend it to anyone who is a Yoshi fan.
