There's a point in the game when the colorful protection shield/neutral zone disappears and the heat-seeking missile moves almost faster than you can fly... Yar-har, it's rough...

This personally is one of my most favorite games ever made. It's simple, but the gameplay is quite different than most space shooters I've ever seen. It almost feels like you're going after the boss of a level; which you technically are.

You're Yar; a lone fly-like alien going after the evil Qotille. You eat away at his brown shield that protects him. Activate your Zorlon cannon and destroy him.

Even though at first glance this game is extremely simple, it grows on you and becomes very addictive. I've actually sat at this game and played for a couple hours at a time. The replay value stays fresh, and having to be on the constant move makes this game exciting.

The graphics are great for the 2600, and actually far better than most 2600 games I've seen. They fit with the theme and play with the player's imagination at times; compared to current games, it creates the delusion of grandure.

The controls are easy to get a hold of and react sharply to the player's every movement.

For current gamers, this game will definitely look horrid. But once you get past the graphics and simple sound; it'll definitely become more immersive than one would expect.

I have fond memories of this game and coming back to it year after year; I'm always surprised at how constantly fun it stays.

It's a definite buy or download for any gamer wanting a blast from the past.
