Tekken meets Grand Theft Auto.

Punch them. Whack them. Break their faces. What more do you want? Think of Yakuza as Tekken meets GTA. There is an open world to explore and almost all of the shops you can enter without the hassle of loading times. All of the moves might look damn familiar, perhaps from Tekken when in hand-to-hand combat or armed combat from Soul Calibur. All the bells and whistles, but none of the charm. To say the least, Yakuza has it's downfalls. The sloppy gameplay can get boring quickly and the storyline is a bit on the shallow side. There is upgrades, combos and weapons, but nothing too serious like guns. Mostly it's just sticks, bats, pipes and wooden planks. You can pick up anything from around your environment and use it as a weapon, even innocent bystanders can be used as a shield. Yakuza is what Chinese mafia should've been a couple of years ago before the release of GTA 3. maybe then we would've appreciated it more.
