You are a person who tries and works his way up the gang ranks and protect his family.I would say that it is the story that keeps the game alive.
The graphics are outstanding and the sound is also brilliant.
The game play is another story,it is a semi free rome game the free rome mode is pathetic his motion of walking is to run but he only walks slowly and most the time you are being stopped by people who want to fight but dont let that put you off, because the fighting is really really great and you can get new moves which are really cool, while fighting you can pick up weapens and do special finish moves.
This game will probably last you about 20 hours so if you want a long lasting game get this
