After patching the game runs fine.

If you play this game install the latest patch (2.3.3.) beforehand. It fixed up tons of bugs. Before the patch the game had crushed on me and sometimes the loading will be bugged. However this was not seen after patching.

I still get in-game stalls here and there. However pushing the space bar or ESC usually fix the problem.

I finished the first 2 levels of BoE and I liked it. The graphics were amazing for something this size and I got very good performance on my mid range computer. (Athlon II 635, HD6850)

I tried connecting online but it seems he servers are down. Will worry about this later.

I am still very new to the game and hasn't even done that first tutorial. I will come back and finish this review later. Just want to point out that the patch fixed most of the stability issues.

Current hint: Use your pikemen against their horsemen. Use your mounted pikemen against their archors by flanking them. Keep your archors behind your pikemen and keep them alive. They kill very well if they don't die.
