Let me start by saying Xenosaga Episode II is not Final Fantasy. Monolith Soft has a different vision and thats why they're not with squaresoft now. That basically means that the way you battle is different and the topics are bolder. That however is not a bad thing. The battle system is very refreshing and good (though not perfect due to the fact that it could've had a bit more depth) and the storyline is epic. You will fall in love with the characters guaranteed. If you can get past the rather frequent and long cut scenes than you owe it to yourself to get this game. Word of advice though, play EP. I first.
