The Revolution Of Role Playing Game

User Rating: 9 | Xenoblade WII
Xenoblade is based on giant Titan known as Bionis which is the world you play on eons later when grass, water and living things form on its dead body.
There is 2 titans, one who have Homs living on (Human like people) and Mechons (Robot like people) and these to life forces take battle on one enougher. You play as Shulk, a Hom who sets out on Bionis to take revenge on a Mechon called Metal Face for killing your friend, But a simple revenge mission turns out somthing bigger.

GAMEPLAY:
The gameplay is pretty much like Final Fantasy 12 but much better, It does what FF12 failed to accumplish. It has the MMORPG feel as all battle and attack menus are put in Real-Time. This could be bad but Nintendo has taken what other games have failed and other games that are great and put them together to make something brilliant. You take control of only 1 character and the other 2 are computer A.I. The A.I are pretty good even though somtimes when you have a healer on you they tend to not heal you when you have almost no health.
When battling you have an Option to use Auto-Attack which deals normal amount of damage or to select a Skill Attack which can deal extra damage or make some stun. You can do brilliant Combo attacks which can take enemies to there misserble death by one person using an Attack that can can Break then someone to Topple and whilst there on the floor get one to use Stun to stop them from getting up.
Now the Monado, A sword that changes the gameplay in huge amounts. Like at one point you can use your Monado to dodge attacks by increaseing speed or use Haze to stop certain creatures from prodicting you moves.
There is one unique feature of the Monado which is "Seeing the future" every so often the screen will go blue and in slow-mo and it'll show you what will happen and how you will die, You have about 10 seconds to use your monados power to change the future, Like something could attack you from the ground and kill you so you'll use Speed, one of the Monados powers to jump out of the way quick enough and hence you changed the furture

GRAPHICS
The graphics are brilliant, Well, one part of the graphics and that is the world you travel in, The lush forests and vast oceans and critter filled plains all look brilliant. There is lots of difeerent places to visit like Towns, Caves, Villages and huge cities. This is the good thing about the graphics, The bad thing is the ugly charcters. They look cool and slick but the graphics powered by the Wii makes them look smudged and rubbed. But other than the graphics are great, Even the special effects from Flares and other magic attacks.

SOUND
The sound is saddly the worse from the lot, Even though the voice acting is good, The English accent does'nt suit the all place. They seem like foriengers in the wrong land, Though good, It does'nt fit, But enough of the voice acting, The best sound is the great music score, From visiting towns, traveling the lands and battling baddies, The music is strong and epic and suits itquite well. When a sad moment comes up the sad lonely music will play and gets your hair on ends. The music the best part for the Sound by far.

OVERAL
The game is supurb, Even though its flaws get in the way, like unsuitable English Accents to smudged faces, stuff like that can be bypass with everything else that makes it great, You can easily rake in over 40 hours if you take in all the side quest and fillinf you book to unlock more items or craft items to make stronger weapons or make gems in easy and great ways to increase the power of your weapons and clothes. The story is grand and brill even though it starts of slow and a typical revenge mission, But without telling you the story it turns out something more and deeper which keeps you hooked. The combat it smooth and fluid with the great skill attacks.
Increase your skills by spending AP to make them stronger, With so many things to increase and fidle with the game is..well..play it and find out how deep this brilliant game is.
