Amazing game that any fan of Jrpgs needs to play.
The story starts off pretty simple but it picks up quick. I still remember the moment that made me love this game. It was about 10 hours in and something (i wont say what) happened that just made me go "holy crap this game is about to get intense" And it did.. From the moment the story gets rolling it doesnt stop until the very end.
The battle system is so much fun. Very fast paced and at times it requires strategy as some bosses will require certain characters and play styles.
The music is awesome. One thing I really like is that the game has day/night cycles and music to accompany both. There is a battle theme for Unique monsters and bosses that is just badass.
The world is very well designed and each area is unique and beautiful.
So to sum it up:

Dialogue(it has its comical moments and some touching points)
Cons:
Voice acting.. since its basically just a translated port of the Japanese version the voices don't sync up to the animations. This is a minor flaw to me but still sometimes it looks weird.
Sometimes it seems a little cheesy fading in and out of cut-scenes but the story and progression of the game make up for it.
One thing thats not really a problem but annoyed me sometimes was the lack of item use. I know it wouldn't really fit with the games battle system but it is annoying if you lose a character early in the fight because you have no way to revive them without building up the party gauge using attacks.
All in all this was one of the finest rpgs Ive had the pleasure to play and it stands right up there with my favorites like FFVIII, and Chrono trigger(and cross).
If your on the fence about buying it I would say do it now before the game stops being distributed in America and your only option is to find it online for an insane amount of money. I will definitely be playing it again in the future.
