Zena: Warrior Princess was one of the first games to give the player actual control when using a charactor's weapon. Zena's chakram is really useful as not just a weapon but a means of surveying how a level is designed and what enemies you'll encounter. Zena's chakram also has an almost unlimited range that's right a player can throw the weapon and so long as it doesn't hit any thing the chakram just keeps going. The problem with the game I had was it used a formula the actual series had abandoned by the time Zena: Warrior Princess The Video Game was released so the game felt dated. Much of the game has the player trying to find out who kidnapped Gabrielle personally IT ROYALLY SUCKS that Gabrielle spends so little time as playable charactor. As I stated before the game's story feels like a first season episode which is sad because the show was in season 4 when the game was released and Gabrielle had grown in to a solid fighter by that point. However the game is very funny like the fact enemies will yell at each other of who gets Zena's boots and other gear when she is defeated.
