Well, It's not the best game I've ever played but it certainly isn't the worst. The characters models are decent and some of the combos are cool but it has been beat in everything. Unlike Mortal Kombat, there aren't any cool fatalities or anything; No great combos or graphics compared to Soul Calibur 2. Just a mediocre game. On the plus side though it does have the X-Men. I'd say if you like X-Men, fighting games, and you have a few extra dollars to spend you won't be terribly disappointed in the game. I'd suggest going to Blockbuster, Hollywood Video, etc. and renting the game first.
