Manager Mode, Career Mode, or a normal match. Smackdown vs Raw makes you enjoy the game in whatever mode you're playing.
But don't get me wrong, i used to play manager mode, and career mode. Which takes me to the next topic, the modes.
In Smackdown vs Raw 207, there are lots of modes. The best modes (in my opinion) are manager mode and season (career) mode. In season mode you could choose any character and manage their daily wrestling lives. You can do this by playing their matches and making decisions for them.
In manager mode you be the General Manager of a show. There are three to choose from ( Smackdown, Raw and Ecw). You have to make match ups and create rivalries, interferences, attack the other show, and interviews.
At the end ( after Wrestlemania) Vince McMahon gives the General Manager of the Year award to the manager with the most fans watching their show.
In Create a superstar, there is lots of options to choose from, such as clothes and masks, etc.
However, this could be improved as any object that should be 3D ( such as the chain or watch) appears flat and unrealistic.
The movesets are also good and there is a huge amount of moves and taunts to choose from.
The legends are also in the game and can be purchased in the WWE shop.
Some of these legends are The Rock, Stone Cold, Hulk Hogan, and also Bret and Jim Hart. (Just to name some)
The graphics are good, but they can still be improved. If you are fighting a short person when you are tall (such as The Great Khali vs Rey Mysterio) then the hand sometimes goes through the body.
However, the crowd noise, the sound effects and the moves are brilliant so this makes up for the glitches that happen from time to time.
The multiplayer is good, but not something to boast about. You can have fun by playing a friend. In multiplayer you can host a game, or join a game by using to options. There is Ad Hoc and Infrastructure mode to connect to your friends PSP.
Generally Smackdown vs Raw 2007 is a good game and keeps entertained with hours of fun. the price is £10 - £20, so it is affordable and is great to play.
