best wrestling game that i have played.
creating your own wrestler is very detailed. there are many things to add such as masks, belts, facepaint, tatoos, facial hair, piercings, hats, and a lot more
the season mode is pretty good but it doesn't change much between smackdown and raw. the only reason you would play this is so you could get unlimited experience points for your created wrestlers by winning at wrestlemania twice.
the commentary is abysmal as usual but thankfully you can turn it off.
the music is ok. it has good music such as static x but it is overloaded with terrible hip-hop and rap.
the gameplay is great. it has enough different types of matches to occupy you for hours such as cage matches, royal rumble, tag team, tables, iron man, ladder, hardcore, and many more.
the gm mode is actually really fun. just make sure you are either using 2 controllers or playing with a friend because the ai will crush you. i swear, they can get ratings that take me 2 months worth of superstar rivalries in the 1st week. they also refuse to make fair trades. but if you're playing with a friend it can be quite fun. however it is very, very long.
the moves in this game are great. there are many moves in this game that are exactly the same as moves used by superstars that aren't in this game and they are only named differently. this gives you many oppurtunities to make your own version of legends or superstars that didn't exist when this game was made or you could make celebrities.
the controls are great. there are no flaws.
this game can be very, very, VERY frustrating when it comes to the ai and countering. thankfully you can turn down the frequency of the ai countering. but for some reason you can't do this when you are in season mode so you most likely won't lose your matches, you will bash your brains out with the controller.
there are some graphic flaws that still have not been fixed. the biggest one being that your body parts will almost always go through your opponents body parts whenever you do a grapple.
i don't really ever use the ppv mode because it's boring.
the superstars themselves look great and the entrances do match what they did at the time this game was made.
overall this game is really good. and thats the bottom line cuz stone cold said so!
