It's Easy To Know If You Will Like It Even Before You Play It! How Old Are You?
Now, as I said in my display, it's so easy to know if you are going to like this game. I myself am considered an old school gamer being near 30 and playing games since I was 3 (anyone else have an Odyssey? Pick-Axe Pete rocked!) and I was played the heck out of the very first Wrestlemania that came out on the NES, Super Wrestlemania on SNES, Royal Rumble on Genesis and so on. After the N64 and the awesome wrestling games it had like WCW/NWO Revenge, I got a little bored with wrestling and stopped playing the games. Since I am typically a Wii player (I prefer gameplay over graphics) and have had a Wii since they came out, I needed to find something enjoyable with a standard controller to tryout my new PS3, something that's terrible on the Wii so I wouldn't prefer a Wii copy, and I picked this game after reading some WWE game reviews As soon as I saw someone mention the game play was similar to WWF Wrestlefest that was in the arcade in the 90's, I knew this was for me. I ADORED that game! And that person was correct, it has a very similar, old school type of control system and nothing like the younger generation is used to for thier newer WWE games.
So that's really it, just think about what you like. If you are older, or you like a lot of those older wrestling games and thier game play you will almost absolutely love this game and if you are younger or just a very modern gamer that really prefers all of the new controls and styles on the wrestling games this may seem a little basic for you.
There are a lot of fun match options like Ladder matches, Handi-Cap matches, Royal/Battle Royals and even the ability to import the roster from WWE Smackdown vs Raw 2009 if you have that game too!
