Innovative,Timeless, Everlasting fun game!.

User Rating: 8.5 | WWE Day of Reckoning 2 GC
Okay, WWE Day of Reckoning 2 is by far one of the greatest wrestling games since WWF No Mercy for Nintendo 64. there are multiple reasons this game is so fun.

First Off the Create A Superstar mode is very wide ranged and extensive. there are so many types of facial expressions you can design. There are many different attires and a color tool that pretty much makes for an infinite amount of colors to design your character with. Also there is a paint tool mode where you can design images from scratch and plant it on your characters clothes or use as a tattoo. C-A-S is set with fully customizable entrances which includes pyro, time set, name plate, taunts and lights and so much more. Also you can give your created star just about any maneuver to perform. hands down the best feature in the game, and to add along to this feature, there is practice mode which is awesome because you can pick any wrestler in the game and practice against a inanimate wrestler so you can get plenty of practice before jumping into the game, also there is a test mode where you can earn money and points for your created wrestler, which also teaches you the maneuvers and tricks of the game.

Another cool feature of this game is The Story mode, I played it a total of 6 times and there's only about 8 or so choices to choose in your journey but it usually lands you in the same result when you win the championship, the story mode is great for those who have no one to play against in the multiplayer option and want extra fun. the story is more extensive than the story of the previous title of the series but even cooler is that the story is a continuation of. The downside to story mode is it is only linear and never a different ending and also you cannot play as an in game character but only your created star, as the game is supposed to be a continuation of the previous title.

The sound in this game may be the weak point as there are only a total of about 12 or so songs in this game which means the in game music gets very old fast, thats the down part.

A great part of the game are the controls, they are extremely simple for any gamecube owner and for anyone whose enjoyed WWF Wrestlemania and WWF No Mercy from the nintendo 64 console. the controls are exactly the same. And that what makes the game easy to play and another good part of the game is the referee actually does his job.

A bad thing about the game is sometimes your tag partner will sometimes attack you inadvertently when you are performing your finishing move on your opponent. But other than that, the game is solid. i guess another bad thing would be the lack of backstage arenas, there are none. so thats a let down for hardcore wrestling fans.

But as Ive said earlier the good outweighs the bad. The game never gets old as they have classic and current wrestlers so you can make past matches and present matches. And you win money with every match. The game has most features required in any wrestling game and best of all theres not many glitches and the moves look painful and not over animated.
