WWE 13 IS Bigger, Better and Badder so come read this review and get told what you must know.
The WWE games have come along way since they first started getting produced; from games such as "Smackdown Here Comes The Pain" and the first ever "Smackdown vs Raw", we have now left the Smackdown vs Raw era and now gone onto the WWE era. Each time a WWE game is made and produced the game gets that bit better but with WWE 13 their is not much I can honestly say that needs improving.
In previous WWE games, you would see the Career mode which was doing matches and getting 5 stars in each to challenge the
champion; then when it came to WWE 12 they scrapped that idea and released "Universe Mode" which is where you make the rosters, you make the shows and you make the WWE how you want it. In WWE 13 they have improved "Universe Mode" and now even more features are available. You can now make your own shows on any day. Any PPV on any Sunday in the month and many more features.
Also in previous WWE games you would see the "Road To Wrestlemania", in this game they have gone to a whole new level and decided to take you back to how the WWE became what it is today and made the "Attitude Era" mode. In this you will get the chance to play the characters: Shawn Michaels and Triple H as D Generation X and on their own, Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Rock, Mick Foley, Undertaker, Kane and many other superstars that made the WWE take over WCW in the view ratings in the Attitude Era.
Their have been many new features brought into and brought back into the game this year. You can once again make your own arenas with many more settings then in WWE 12. Also you get more clothing and accessories for your custom WWE superstars; placed back in the WWE games is make your own championship belt but you don't get as many options which cuts back on your creativity as you can only edit the WWE belts that are in the game. As many WWE players have complained "Even though the game is on Legend I still find it easy to win" this has been changed as you can now set your matches to "Quick" "Normal" or "Epic" and they decide how long it will take to defeat your opponent or opponents.
WWE 13 is an online game as well and even though connection as been a huge problem in the past they have improved a little as now you can search for matches at what signal strength you desire. Furthermore a new selection called "Fair Fight" which only allows you to only be non custom superstars only and you can not change the rules or in general have anything custom so it's as fair as it gets.
Finally many match types have been brought back into the game with match types such as "Special Guest Referee" and "I Quit" matches. Furthermore in "Match Creator" a few more items have been added which are the old steel cages.
In my opinion I would give this game a rating of 9/10 as their are the odd one or two things that need adjusting but in all fairness you will enjoy the game for what it is and if you play on as hard as the game can be you will stay on the
edge of your seat.
