The gameplay for this game is impressive, easing new players into the experience with the driving aids, but it can be extremely difficult to keep grip if you remove them, making it a truly tough driving experience, if, like me you havent played a great deal of driving simulations. Some of the new features are extremely undercooked, such as the new 'random environmental effects' which amounts to a handful of scripted landlsides and animals running across the track, which is disappointing. the tracks themselves are impressive, and can be fast, or twisty, and are brought to life well by the graphics, which while not spectacular, do the job. the damage modelling is good, but could have been better. The sound is strong, with authentic sounding engines and a co-driver who isnt too annoying for a change. the game has all the licensed drivers, and tracks and cars and is fun for any rallying fan, but average for anyone else.
