Possibly the best football game to date.

I enjoy every aspect of the game of football. And this game makes me feel like a football superstar....... when its on the lowest difficulty level. One of the few problems that I have with this game is its a little hard, but I might only think that because I like to dominate any sports game. I get very upset when I lose a football match, and I'm not happy with my performance when I only win by a goal.

But this game does a great job at representing the true aspect of the sport. In football a goal is a big deal, and Kon ami did an amazing job a putting that in this game. Every goal I score makes me jump off my seat in enjoyment, and every time my opponent scores a goal I want to snap my controller in two. One downfall of the game for an American audience is that a big part of the game is about building a team from nothing, and the majority of Americans don't know much about how leagues in Europe manage teams. I love playing exhibition matches, but when I'm expected to take a below average team and building them up to a team that rivals FC Barcelona and Chelsea is asking a little much if you ask me.

The graphics aren't amazing but they are above average. I am playing this game on a PS3 though so for a game that came out during the previous console generation the graphics are quite good.

When it comes to sound in other genres of video games the sound has a lot more to do with the overall quality of the game. In this game there are no sounds of punches being thrown, swords clashing, or guns going off in the distance. But the sound that is in this game is very good. The announcers aren't overly repetitive like a lot of other sports games that I have played. Depending on the stadium that you are playing in the crowd changes a lot. When the home team is a club like Chelsea the crowd is always really loud and there are banners all over the place. But when playing as a national team the crowd isn't as loud and you don't see the passion of the fans like there is when you watch a club game. So I gave this game a 9 in sound because it isn't a major part of the game in my mind, but what sound is in this game is very good for a football game.

This game is a few years old now, so it is hard to find in stores. I was able to pick it up at a Gamestop for about $20. And twenty dollars for the best football game out right now definitely deserves a 10 in value.

So when it comes down to it this is a must have for anyone in the market for a football/"soccer" game.
