Why isn't this better?

For a game that should be all about the gameplay, it sure is unclear what the heck is going on. The game simply doesn't look very good, and the layout of information is not very good. Also, the control scheme doesn't go quite far enough...while it's nice to require more than one controller action to select an action, it's can be unclear how to change your selection if you mess up since there is no on-screen hint.
This may sound crazy, but I found the layout of the poker mini-game in Big-Motha-Truckers 2 (not a great title by itself) much clearer, with better visuals. The visual balance of important elements is clear, cards and bets are easy to see, and controls clearly displayed.
I'd love to see an Xbox poker game with way more focus on the basic display of poker info.
