Its still impossible to explain the massacres as "Random"
It has to be rigged !
WoW's could be really great ! Sometimes it is . But , it can be really horrible too , and usually is for me now .
Take the most recent battle I was in - a "supposedly ' - " even as they can get it " - affair .
When I looked at the lineup after the massacre ( 10 out of 12 ships sunk on my team - compared to 2 ships sunk on the other ) the other team had 8 out /of 12 Highly ranked players ! The green team (mine) - 3 lower ranked , two medium rank ! In other massacres it appears that one team has far more accurate fire than the other . Sometimes it is obvious - one team will be loaded with ships that have to be paid for ; all possessing special characteristics far superior to standard .
Why you ask ? . They have a long , mostly indecipherable spiel about how they try and why it "just works out that way , and yada , yada, yada .
But when I really blistered them in a official complaint about their " Kazahkstani programmers" I was on the losing side of a massacre , like those above , 25 times in a row ! No way that is random . Nor could Anyone be so bad that they weigh their team down that much either . I wrote them and said OK , I get it , and it stopped for a while . Then started up again .
Bottom line - don't waste your time unless all your friends play And are really , really good .
If , you do play ; Don't Ever , Ever complain to them about the uneven teams or many other problems with the game ! And for heaven's sake don't spend Money on it . Better yet play Steel Ocean or one of the other sea battle games out there and save yourself an incredible amount of frustration .
