World of Goo is from the same league as Worms & Lemmings but it seems that it was short lived.

World of Goo is an innovative puzzle game that doesn't get enough credit?Isn't it?Well, you're wrong! This is the type of game that burns-just like some of the Goo Balls-play it while it's hot, i mean while it was, after that you'll won't need to play it again in your live-0 replay value.
These Goo Balls have their own life & their own voices-they can make strange sounds & they are enchanted by the whistle-no, that the whistle from Super Mario Bros 3, the whistle from this game:)You will get this whistle...nah, i don't want to spoil anymore.
The objective of the game is to combine these Goo Balls, to connect to reach the pipe where they will be sucked into & stored in a bottle. Each level requires a different amount of Goo Balls to be stored, from 6-7 all the way up to even 30-40 i don't know, i forgot. There are 4 Worlds+an Epilogue. The first world takes place in Spring & it has 12 Levels. The 2nd world in Autumn & it has 11 Levels. The 3rd world-Winter-10 Levels & finally the 4th world takes place in a....strange new dimension that was prepared by in the other 3 worlds & has 9 levels. At the Epilogue it's the conclusion of the game-it has 4 additional levels & the action takes place in Summer time. The aphex of the game is at the end of the 4th world called "Information Superhighway".It's pretty epic what happens there "-I am impressssed!"(G-Man lol:) & after the Epilogue we also have some pretty epic stuff there...no spoilers, i don't want to get banned. Each world has a level that concludes what you've did so far & it builds a story that culminates(like i said) at the the end of world 4.Thrrough out the game there are different types of Goo Balls & each of them with the own functions & abilities-for example:some are flamable, others once you connect them you cannot move them anymore, others are pretty, others are ugly...but they are all enchanted by the whistle-when you blow it, they will move quickly in the direction where the sound comes from. This thing helps you, the player, to avoid breaking or twisting the goo constructions under the own weight of the goo balls themselves or to try to move the constrution with some inches.(i don't know what you've understood but i've tried my best, lol:)
The graphics are similar with the ones from Worms Armageddon for example & the music is very strange-i really don't know how to describe it.At every level there is a wooden panel with notes that most of the are riddles, trying to guide through out the levels. This game is good for those who might want to become engineers or something like that.I've enjoyed this innovative puzzle game while it lasted, now i find it very annoying & like i said-it totally lacks replay value. It would be a real torture for me to replay World of Goo.
Oh, & i've forgot something-All the extra goo balls that remain after you collect them are stored in a place called World of Goo Corporation that later in the game will be renamed after the Epic events that will occur-The company that made WoG is called 2D Boy soooo...the game is 2-Dimensional of course(coincidence).
World of Goo is from the same league as Worms & Lemmings but it seems that it was short lived & now i find it very annoying-bleah!
ps-Worms Armageddon Blows this Game into pieces-so is Lemmings.
