World in Conflict review.
The camping is about Soviet invade the Untied States and you are an US army lieutenant (later you have a chance to rank up to a Captain) to fight off the Russian. The story unfolds as you progress through each level and it is pretty interesting and each the character in the game is deeply related to the main story.
The game play is unique, it don't need you to build base or gather resource to build up army, instead you are giving additional resource when you at the beginning of the game than your unit will drop in on the battlefield, if your unit is destroyed the resource you spend on that unit will come back (it will take some time for it to come back) and you can order new unit. Most time you just need to worry about the frontline action.
There is also a lot of off-map support you can get, like tank buster, artillery, etc...and the coolest is nuclear boom it destroy every thing within the impact zone.
The multiplayer are great in this, it is the most time you get to use all the support. There are three factions U.S. Soviet Union and NATO. There four classes of commander infantry, tank, artillery and air each specialize on its own doctrine.
But the bad part is each factions weapons all have the same power, but reality they have a lot of difference between each other. Like M1A1 tank done the same damage as T-80, but M1A1 tank is much stronger than T-80 (guess they try to balance the game).
So if you looking for instant action for RTS get this game.
