A fantastic game that really puts you in BJs shoes

I just completed the game. Wow! I am impressed. It improves on The New Order in so many ways. The visuals, the combat, the atmosphere, the music. It all comes together nicely. You really feel for BJ and the other characters. There are some very emotional moments and the story is actually interesting. For the first time in a long time I read all the backstory in the collectable items laying around in the game world. Most games they are just there as trophies to collect to add to the overall game completion percentage and I don't care. They are trophies in this game too but they are actually interesting and add depth to the game. I have been playing Wolfenstein since the original way back in 1992 and I have played every PC iteration of it to date. There are some nods (easter eggs) in there and the ending is just brilliant. I sat through the credits to see if there was a hidden cinematic there and I'm glad I did. Wolfenstein and Doom games are well known for hidden things and this is no exception. And that is not all. You get to continue playing to hunt down the remaining Übercommanders and I think that it will give you a chance to collect any remaining collectables that you may have missed during the campaign.

All in all this is a fantastic game that any fan of the Wolfenstein series will enjoy. If you're not it's a very good game for shooter fans too. But don't go playing it until you have played The New Order and The Old Blood first as there are references to those games and the story won't make complete sense if you just jump straight into this game.
