So this is the game that won best FPS of the year, praised as 9/10. amazing, deep story and old school shooting gameplay. on other hand steam reviews are mix for some reason. so let me do my short review.
Wolfenstein 2 new colossus is the bad stealth game with shooting mechanics and kill the commander for prevent the alarm. with cutscene after cutscene interrupt the gameplay. new order was mediocre game but this game is even worse. theres some games that are overrated but still ok. but this game is not just ok. its flatout bad. level design is also some of the worst i have ever seen. even new order was not that bad. it force you into stealth. when you want to shoot. you die very fast. bad game design.
It rely heavily on story. the entire budget feel like wasted on cutscene and acting but it tell absolutely horrible story with no cutscene worth watching. its a movie and not even a good movie. the prolouge is one of the worst i have ever seen. showing BJ father abusing his family and force BJ to kill the dog. just a terrible opening and it turn me off. none of characters are interesting or likeable. they all suck. I mean game has 3 hour of cutscene!!!
so theres few minutes of gameplay and then you watch a long cutscene.
how can a game called a good game when it neither did gameplay right nor story. for a game that critics called old school and a game with deep story narrative.
it just suck overall. kinda shame that machinegames turn wolfenstien into one of the worst FPS franchise. RTCW was one of the best FPS of all time and still better than anything trash machinegames did.
