Im happy to say that WipEout Pulse really got my heart going.

At first i was sceptical. I have had the psp for two years and saw this as an older game i might as well not waste money on. But i couldnt have been more wrong. Pulse is an amazing game overall, it utilizes all the psp's features. This game can tap into your computer for a custom soundtrack, and it can also take snapshots that can be saved to your memory card. The story mode is very deep, with 7 different events. You don't hear this very often, but i enjoy all the events and all prove to be great innovation for the system. The common single race event is present, this is just your basic racer only with weapons peppered in. The zone event is very enjoyable as you strive to reach top speeds and stay in one piece as long as possible. The eliminator event is self-explanitory, the objective is to eliminate all of your opponents via a wide arsenal of weapons. Time attack and the one lap events are those ever-enjoyable races against the clock. This game seems to be very fun so far and I hope to get A-LOT of time out of this newest addition to my psp library.
