A classic WWI flight simulation.

Most World War flight simulators involved a huge array of keys that needed operating in an equally confusing manner. The genius of Wings is that it's an arcade style simulator, and thus very easy to pick up and play.

You play the part of a World War I fighter pilot, and the story follows you through training, and into the full horror of the War. As it progresses you are treated to a diary style story line as our hero scribbles away in his journal recounting the events as they unfold.

The graphics were very good at the time, and the easy control method, all through the joystick made it a fantastically easy game to get into.

The missions, though fairly similar are broken up by 2D strafing missions that add to the enjoyment, the main game is 3D.

One of the easiest flight sims to get into.
