Wing Commander´s storyline make the game worth to play. Like other FMV based games, the storyline is the strongest point of the game. The graphics are just fine, I mean, in-combat graphics are well designed but not impressive, It´s important to mention that combat explosions look realistic and the FMV sequences look pretty good. The gameplay is nothing special since the 3DO lacks of some features included in the PS and PC version. During some intense combats the game can experience some slowdowns once it loads explosions from the disc, in other words, the loading time can be a problem even between video sequences. The control is not smoth but with some practice the player gets used to it. The sound is well done and the voice acting...well, it´s a FMV based game, real actors and all the stuff, its like a movie, a good one by the way. Wing Commander 3 is able to deliver good hours of entertainment with a gripping storyline and a decent space combat simulation.
