Just another wow clone gone wrong.

I would love to say that wildstar reinvents the wheel. Unfortunately, it doesn't do that. The game is quite boring with your typical kill 50 of that and 100 of that. I'm surprised there's no collecting 100 of that which makes it so much less annoying.

The visual of the game is quite amazing. The problem I had was the HUGE landscape and objects that make your character look so small. The world seems so cluttered because of it.

The interface is poorly designed. It's a mock up of Star Wars Galaxies and World of Warcraft. The crafting is not as polished as you would think and the quest tracker is annoying. You click on a quest, you see an arrow and how far you are from the quest, then it's just keep running until you make it to your destination. The mini map doesn't provide much and some quests are not detailed enough to understand.

Questing is by far the worse part. The complain is not having to kill and grind because honestly, there isn't much grinding. It's designed pretty well that you don't sit for hours killing. However, there is no set path. I will use World of Warcraft for example.

Starting area for humans, Elwyn forest, Westfall, Redridge and so on and so on. With Wildstar, there is no set place to go. You just follow quests and they randomly scatter you all over the place which is quite annoying. I believe the quest system needs to be cleaned up. There are still a few glitches and bugs you'll come across but overall it does seem complete.

I've read reviews and there are quite a few that seem to believe this game is a keeper. Unfortunately, I don't see that happening. You are limited to spells and have only 8 to pick on your hot bar but I do like the skills system.

Overall, it's a good experience but not for endgame. I don't care if anyone says 'you need to reach level 20-30 to like it and understand it. Any MMORPG that requires you to reach high levels to enjoy content means there's something wrong there.
