A good one, is not the best of the series. But is a nice experience te play tha same story.

I played the original Wild Arms and it was a great experience, After code is the same thing with some "make up" on the graphics and the sound but I think if you want to know why Wild Arms was one of the best rpg´s on play station you must play the original and "after" you can play the PS2 version and remember the good times.
However I have to admitt that I enjoy playing the game again, with the new graphics, which aren´t the best of this generation of games but are ok.
Just forget about Wild Arms 2 and 3, and play this one, and then you can enjoy Wild Arms 4, I think those are the best.
